About the Role
Care in Mind is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Deputy Manager to join our team. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of our residential services for young people aged 16-30 years old.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Registered Manager in planning and implementing care plans for young people
- Conduct regular supervisions with staff to ensure they are meeting the needs of young people
- Assist with the recruitment, selection, and retention of staff
- Develop and implement training programs for staff to enhance their skills and knowledge
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to provide high-quality care and support to young people
Requirements
- Minimum of 12 months supervisory experience in a residential setting
- Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent
- Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle for work purposes
- Excellent understanding of mental health and the issues young people face
- Ability to work collaboratively with a wider multi-disciplinary team
