Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Deputy Night Manager to join our team at Menzies Distribution. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient day-to-day operations of our Distribution Centre.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: You will be responsible for overseeing a team of Warehouse Operatives, providing coaching, training, and motivating them to achieve challenging Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Operational Management: You will work closely with our Operations Manager to manage the day-to-day operations of the Distribution Centre, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Health and Safety: You will be responsible for ensuring that all staff have completed the necessary Health & Safety training and that the warehouse is maintained in a safe and clean condition.
  • Process Management: You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end warehouse functions and processes, ensuring that they are running smoothly and efficiently.
  • Quality Standards: You will be responsible for maintaining quality standards, including providing handover reports to oncoming Shift Managers and ensuring that all staff are trained to undertake their duties effectively.
