Deputy Head of Performance

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Deputy Head of Performance to join our team at Menzies Distribution Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient day-to-day operations of our Distribution Centre.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage and motivate a team of Warehouse Operatives to meet customer timescales and improve productivity.
  2. Maintain quality standards and ensure team productivity targets are achieved.
  3. Provide handover reports to oncoming Shift Managers and ensure inductions are carried out for all new staff.
  4. Provide training to all staff and contractors to ensure they can undertake their duties effectively, efficiently, and safely.
  5. Ensure all staff have completed the necessary Health & Safety training and manage the end-to-end warehouse functions and processes.
  6. Keep the warehouse safe, clean, and tidy.
Requirements:
  1. Previous supervisory or managerial experience is preferred.
  2. A good approach to prioritisation of daily tasks and keeping a cool head under pressure.
  3. A common-sense approach to problem-solving.
  4. Computer literate and comfortable working to strict deadlines.
  5. Great communication skills.
