Job Summary:

The Deputy Head Housekeeper will play a key role in the efficient management of the housekeeping department, working closely with the Head Housekeeper to drive productivity and excellence. This is an exciting opportunity to join HC Facility Management Limited as a senior member of the housekeeping team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head Housekeeper in overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring seamless delivery of services to guests.
  • Act as the first point of contact for the Hotel General Manager and Senior Management team in the absence of the Head Housekeeper, providing exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Develop and implement cost-effective solutions to improve departmental efficiency and productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with company health and safety policies, reporting and recording any maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries to maintain high standards for QA audits and H&S audits.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a senior housekeeping role, with a focus on operations and management.
  • Strong commercial awareness and cost control capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Flexibility to work varying hours, including weekends, and adapt to changing priorities.
