Deputy Night Manager

Shift pattern: Saturday - Thursday - 23:00

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Deputy Night Manager to join our team at Menzies Distribution in Sheffield. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient day-to-day operations of our Distribution Centre.

You will be responsible for overseeing a team of Warehouse Operatives, providing coaching, training, and motivating them to achieve challenging Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Your leadership skills will be essential in developing a culture of success through positive team engagement, effective communication, and hands-on management.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing a 'handover report' to the oncoming Shift Manager
  • Ensuring all staff have completed necessary Health & Safety training
  • Management of end-to-end warehouse functions and processes
  • Maintaining quality standards
  • Keeping the warehouse safe, clean, and tidy
