About the Role

The Health Records Clinic Coordinator will play a vital role in the Medical Records Team at Velindre University NHS Trust. This position requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual who can provide efficient and effective clerical support for specific clinics.

Main Responsibilities

  • Communicate with healthcare professionals, administrative staff, and patients to coordinate clinic appointments and ensure seamless patient experiences.
  • Manage and maintain accurate patient records, including demographic information and clinical data.
  • Produce and distribute outpatient attendance lists to ensure timely and efficient clinic operations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and healthcare professionals, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent experience in a healthcare or administrative setting.
  • Advanced keyboard skills and proficiency in electronic health records systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
