About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nutrition Nurse Specialist to join our team as a Clinical Lead for our Community Nutrition Service. This is an exciting opportunity to provide specialist nutrition nursing to patients receiving home enteral tube feeding in Cardiff and Vale of Glamorgan.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership to a team of Nutrition Nurses, ensuring effective patient-centered service delivery within the financial and workforce resources.
  • Coordinate the Community Nutrition Nurse Service, including highly specialist nursing visits to patients' homes and nursing homes.
  • Develop and implement service improvements, ensuring a high-quality patient experience.
  • Work closely with dietetic colleagues to deliver a patient-centered service, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Provide training and education to patients, carers, and healthcare professionals on enteral nutrition and related topics.
Requirements
  • Nurse registration and a Master's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Significant post-registration experience in enteral nutrition nursing, with a strong track record of clinical leadership and service development.
  • Excellent communication, IT, and presentation skills, with evidence of continuing professional development.
