Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our team as a Nutrition Nurse Specialist, providing specialist nutrition nursing to patients receiving home enteral tube feeding in Cardiff and Vale of Glamorgan.

Main Responsibilities
  • Co-ordinate the Community Nutrition Nurse Service, ensuring effective patient-centred service delivery within the financial and workforce resource.
  • Provide highly specialist nursing, including visits to patients' homes and nursing homes.
  • Lead and develop the Community Nutrition Nurse Service, providing clinical supervision and leadership.
  • Contribute to service development and improvement, working closely with dietetic colleagues to ensure a patient-centred service is delivered to patients in their homes.

Requirements
  • Nurse registration.
  • MSc or equivalent experience.
  • Teaching in clinical practice/qualification.
  • Relevant experience in enteral nutrition nursing.
  • Significant post-registration experience.
