Clinical Administrative Coordinator

Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Clinical Administrative Coordinator to join our esteemed team within the Cellular Pathology department. This role is pivotal in delivering comprehensive administrative support to Consultants and junior medical staff, as well as collaborating with the Cellular Pathology Service Manager and Service Support Manager as necessary.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Facilitating communication among a diverse group of clinical and non-clinical personnel within cancer multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely patient care and adherence to established Cancer Turnaround Times.
- Monitoring and tracking outstanding cancer cases to ensure efficient progression through the department.
- Compiling and providing data for weekly reports to be submitted to Senior Management Teams.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidate will possess:
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualifications/experience.
- A solid educational background with a minimum of 4 GCSEs, including Mathematics and English.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a secretarial or administrative role within an office environment.

- Proficient typing skills and a high level of accuracy.
- Strong computer skills, particularly in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
- The capacity to prioritize and manage their own workload effectively.

- A good telephone manner and the ability to work collaboratively within a team in a fast-paced environment.
