Position Overview

Administrative Coordinator for Neurology - Cardiff and Vale University Health Board

We are excited to present a rewarding opportunity for a skilled and motivated administrative coordinator to join our Neurology Department.

The successful candidate will deliver extensive administrative support to Consultants, Nursing staff, and Junior medical personnel within the Neurology service.

This is a full-time position, and the ideal applicant will possess outstanding communication abilities and thrive in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

The selected individual will be a proactive team member with prior experience in medical administration, demonstrating exceptional organizational and clerical capabilities.

Proficiency in computer applications is crucial for this role, which will involve utilizing Microsoft Office software, NHS IT systems, and audio/copy typing. A solid understanding of patient confidentiality and the ability to meet deadlines is essential. Flexibility to provide cross-cover within the team or directorate may also be necessary.

While the ability to communicate in Welsh is advantageous, it is not a requirement; applications from both English and Welsh speakers are welcomed.

Qualifications

  • Strong General Education
  • RSA Level 3 or equivalent experience
