Pelvic Health Clinical Nurse Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our Pelvic Health Service. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in the management and care of patients with pelvic health issues.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with pelvic health issues, including detailed history taking and physical examinations.
- Develop individualised care plans based on assessment findings and patient needs, implementing and coordinating treatment plans as required.
- Assist in or perform specialised procedures, such as catheterisations, pessary fittings, and pelvic floor muscle training.
- Educate patients and their families about pelvic health conditions, treatment options, and self-care strategies, while offering emotional support and counselling.
- Identify the need for and facilitate referrals to other specialists or services, as necessary.
- Pursue ongoing professional development and continuing education to maintain expertise in pelvic health.

Requirements- Previous experience as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in a related field, preferably in colorectal or pelvic floor care.
- Evidence of leadership and autonomous practice, with the ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Desirable qualifications include a Master's degree or working towards one, as well as clinical patient assessment and non-medical prescribing skills.
