About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Pelvic Health Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team at Cardiff and Vale University Health Board. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients with pelvic health issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with pelvic health issues, including detailed history taking and physical examinations.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessment findings and patient needs.
  • Assist in or perform specialized procedures, such as catheterizations, pessary fittings, and pelvic floor muscle training.
  • Educate patients and their families about pelvic health conditions, treatment options, and self-care strategies.
  • Identify the need for and facilitate referrals to other specialists or services.
  • Pursue ongoing professional development and continuing education to maintain expertise in pelvic health.
Requirements
  • Previous CNS experience within Colorectal/Pelvic floor.
  • Evidence of leadership and autonomous practice.
  • Clinical patients assessment and non-medical prescribing (desirable).
