Job Title: Early Years Foundation Stage Teaching Assistant

**Job Type:** Temporary, Full-Time hours

**Primary Industry:** Education, EYFS

**Salary:** £95 Per day

Job Responsibilities:
  • **Support the Class Teacher:** Deliver engaging and effective lessons for Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) students
  • **Assist with Planning:** Help with the planning and preparation of learning activities
  • **One-to-One Support:** Provide individual support for students with additional learning needs
  • **Safe Learning Environment:** Contribute to creating a safe and nurturing learning environment
  • **Assessment and Record-Keeping:** Assist with assessment and record-keeping
Required Qualifications:
  • **GCSEs (or equivalent):** English and Maths
  • **Teaching Assistant Qualification:** Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or Level 2 Childcare qualification
  • **Enhanced DBS Check:** Required
Education and Experience:

**Education:** Educated to GCSE level or equivalent

**Experience:** Prior experience working with young children in an educational setting

Key Skills and Knowledge:
  • **Understanding of EYFS Curriculum:** Familiarity with the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum
  • **Communication and Interpersonal Skills:** Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • **Teamwork:** Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • **Organisational Skills:** Strong organisational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • **First Aid Certification:** Desired
  • **Experience with Special Educational Needs:** Experience working with children with special educational needs
Working Conditions:

This role involves working within a school setting, following school hours and term times. The successful candidate may need to support outdoor learning activities and be prepared to assist with physical tasks related to the care of young children.
