As an Early Years Educator, your responsibilities will include:

  • Engaging with infants and toddlers in a nursery environment.
  • Working flexible hours, which may range from 8 AM to 6 PM.
  • Providing support to fellow staff members within the setting.
  • Assisting in the implementation of daily routines.
  • Offering one-on-one support to children as needed.
  • Delivering personal care to children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

Qualifications Required:

While not mandatory, the following qualifications are desirable:

  • 5 GCSEs at grades 9 to 4 (A* to C), or equivalent, including English and Mathematics.
  • Any EYFS-related qualification.
  • Level 2 Award in Support Work.
  • Level 2 Award in Supporting Teaching and Learning.
  • Level 2 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning.
  • Prior experience in nursery support with children.
  • Proficient level of English, both spoken and written.
