About the Role

This is a business-critical position that will have a significant impact on the commercial success of projects. As a Senior Estimator and Project Manager, you will be responsible for accurately estimating project costs and managing all phases of interior construction projects from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage internal and external Project Managers/Estimators team
  • Develop and implement project delivery processes, subcontractor management, pricing and estimating procedures to deliver profitable projects and ensure client satisfaction
  • Conduct site visits to meet trades, attend client meetings and survey buildings for preparation of plans
  • Liaise with the sales team and receive project details for quotation
  • Create works schedules and programmes for sub-contractors to price from
  • Develop detailed costed quotations to cover scope of works
  • Manage the panel production department
  • Project manage site agents on projects across the South West region
Requirements
  • Proven experience in producing accurate, detailed quotations and project managing commercial and/or educational premises refurbishments
  • Degree level qualification in Quantity Surveying or related field
  • Experience working for a main contractor as a QS
