Senior Estimator and Project Manager Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Estimator and Project Manager to join our team at CV Library. As a Senior Estimator and Project Manager, you will be responsible for accurately estimating project costs and managing all phases of interior construction projects from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage internal and external Project Managers/Estimators team
  2. Develop project delivery processes, subcontractor management, pricing and estimating procedures to deliver profitable projects and ensure client satisfaction
  3. Conduct site visits to meet trades, attend client meetings and survey buildings for preparation of plans
  4. Liaise with the sales team and receive project details for quotation
  5. Create works schedules and programmes for sub-contractors to price from
  6. Create detailed costed quotations to cover scope of works
  7. Manage the panel production department
  8. Project manage site agents on projects across the South West region

Requirements:

The successful applicant will have proven experience in producing accurate, detailed quotations and project managing commercial and/or educational premises refurbishments in conjunction with our Interior Designers and Sales team.

A degree-level qualification such as a BSc in Quantity Surveying is expected, and experience of working for a main contractor as a QS is highly desirable.
