Tameside, United Kingdom Creative Support Full time

Are you dedicated to enhancing the lives of individuals with care requirements? Do you have a passion for enabling them to elevate their quality of life while helping them achieve their aspirations and dreams?

Creative Support is a non-profit organization committed to delivering exceptional, individualized support to individuals with physical disabilities, learning disabilities, mental health challenges, and dementia. Our approach is tailored to meet the unique needs of each client, fostering independence and community involvement.

We are excited to announce the creation of four new roles to assist our current Extra Care Coordinators in delivering personalized care and support to our service users. We are looking for four empathetic, dedicated, and proactive individuals to join our outstanding team.

The Extra Care Services span multiple locations, and we have established a new position at each site. You will collaborate with the Extra Care Coordinator and Registered Manager to ensure an empowering service that addresses the needs of our clients and collaborates with the families and friends of service users to foster a positive environment. Flexibility, energy, and reliability are essential qualities we seek.

Creative Support prioritizes your ongoing professional growth. As a successful candidate, you will undergo a comprehensive local and corporate induction and earn a level 3 certificate in 'Preparing to Work in Adult Social Care.' Upon completing your probation, you will automatically be enrolled in the NVQ level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care. You will also have opportunities to discuss your training and development needs during regular supervision and appraisal sessions.

You should be prepared to engage in all aspects of the role, including providing assistance with personal care and household tasks, as well as supporting individuals in accessing employment, education, and social opportunities. We appreciate the personal skills and interests you bring to the role, such as sports, outdoor activities, creative arts, music, and cooking.

This position requires a flexible approach, working on a roster basis that includes evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins. While prior experience in caring for vulnerable adults is necessary, what we value most is your initiative and positive attitude.
