Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the occupational needs of service users.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to promote recovery and independence.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care.
- Provide education and training to patients, carers, and staff on occupational therapy principles and practices.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of service policies and procedures.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery.
- Degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification.
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Experience working in mental health services, preferably in a community setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of occupational therapy principles and practices, including the Model of Human Occupation (MOHO).
