Creative Support is a non-profit organization committed to delivering exceptional, individualized support to individuals with physical disabilities, learning challenges, mental health issues, and dementia. Our approach is tailored to meet the unique needs of each client, fostering independence and community involvement.
We are excited to announce the creation of four new roles to assist our current Extra Care Coordinators in delivering personalized care and support to our service users. We are looking for four empathetic, dedicated, and enthusiastic individuals to join our remarkable team.
The Extra Care Services in Tameside consist of four distinct care locations, and we have newly established positions at each site: including our Dukinfield service, Ashton Under Lyne service, Stalybridge service, and Droylsden service.
In this role, you will support the Extra Care Coordinator and Registered Manager in providing an empowering service that caters to the needs of our clients and collaborates with their families and friends to foster a positive environment. We seek individuals who are adaptable, energetic, and dependable.
Creative Support is devoted to your ongoing professional growth. As a successful candidate, you will undergo a comprehensive local and corporate induction and earn a level 3 certificate in 'Preparing to Work in Adult Social Care'. Upon completing your probationary period, you will automatically be enrolled in the NVQ level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to discuss your training and development needs during regular supervision and appraisal sessions.
Your role will encompass various responsibilities, including providing assistance with personal care and household tasks, as well as supporting individuals in accessing employment, education, and social opportunities. We appreciate the personal skills and interests you bring to the position and the lives of those we support, such as sports, outdoor activities, creative arts, music, and cooking.
This position requires a flexible approach, working on a roster basis that includes evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins. While prior experience in caring for vulnerable adults is essential, what we value most is your initiative and positive attitude.
