About the Role:

Creative Support is seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to lead our team of support professionals within our Supported Accommodation service. We are looking for someone with a solid background and expertise in mental health care.

As a Support Services Supervisor, you will receive mentorship and assistance from the registered service manager to ensure the delivery of high-quality support within the accommodation service. You will also collaborate with a network of seasoned regional managers who, along with the registered manager, will offer peer support in your role.

The ideal candidate will assist active and independent service users with mental health challenges, helping them pursue a variety of interests and objectives. Each day will present unique opportunities as we empower our service users to engage in diverse activities such as dining out, cooking, board games, movie nights, arts and crafts, and much more. Key Responsibilities:

  • Directly supervise the team and manage the performance of team members.
  • Function as a Support Services Supervisor across various support streams, ensuring the effective operation of services with the assistance of senior staff.
  • Provide direct support to service users as part of your responsibilities.
  • Deliver person-centered care and support to enable individuals with mental health needs to live as independently as possible and integrate into their community.
  • Engage with service users to establish trusting therapeutic relationships.
  • Conduct assessments for new referrals and ensure thorough review processes for service users.
  • Collaborate closely with other professionals and organizations to provide a coordinated, personalized service that meets the specific needs of individuals, promotes their recovery, and enhances their quality of life.
  • Act as a deputy for the Mental Health Manager in relevant areas when necessary, providing staff supervision and management, conducting initial assessments, and liaising with other professionals and organizations.

Additional Information:
