Key Responsibilities
  • Opportunity Management: Manage a pipeline of opportunities from prospect stage to sale, with the support of the wider Balens team.
  • Relationship Development: Deliver new, and maintain existing, introducer and partner relationships.
  • Team Support: Provide support across the wider Balens team to ensure successful conversion of opportunity.
  • Events and Presentations: Be a key member of our Events team, delivering workshops, presentations, networking, and engaging with attendees, exhibitors, and partners.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Work collaboratively with our Compliance and Agency teams to ensure all regulatory components of relationship management are achieved.
  • Strategic Development: Develop and implement strategies to enhance lead generation, opportunity conversion, and penetration rates.
  • Customer Engagement: Collaborate with the Balens team to identify and address customer concerns.
  • Incident Resolution: Resolve incidents promptly and implement improvements based on incident analysis.
  • Professional Development:
  • Compliance and Governance: Take responsibility for ensuring you are compliant in terms of regulatory requirements and that compliance is embedded in your work.
Requirements
  • Proven Experience: Proven experience in a sales-focused role with demonstrated success in lead acquisition and conversion.
  • Client Relationships: Experience in managing client relationships with multiple stakeholders.
  • Commercial Insurance: Understanding of commercial insurance and knowledge of performance reporting and KPI management.
  • Analytical and Communication Skills: Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities and exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Negotiation and Influencing: Negotiation and influencing skills.
