Reporting Structure

This position reports to the Head of Investigations.

Key Responsibilities

As a member of the ABB Electrification Business Area Legal and Integrity team, you will collaborate with Human Resources professionals to conduct thorough investigations into various workplace matters, ranging from minor to complex issues. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the complete lifecycle of case management for a wide array of HR-related concerns.
  • Conducting timely and comprehensive HR integrity investigations across the Europe, Middle East, and Africa regions.
  • Preparing detailed investigative reports that include case summaries, findings, and recommendations for appropriate actions and resolutions.
  • Ensuring meticulous case administration and thorough investigations to meet established deadlines and key performance indicators.
  • Documenting investigations accurately through reports or in the system.
  • Facilitating and leading disciplinary committees as necessary, and following up on any remediation actions.
  • Submitting cases for closure in accordance with the investigation framework and tracking remediation actions.
  • Assisting the Legal & Integrity team in delivering training to HR and business teams, including preparing specific training materials and scheduling sessions.
  • Supporting the Head of Investigations in evaluating the effectiveness of the integrity program.

Qualifications
  • A degree in Law or advanced studies in Law/Compliance.
  • Over 8 years of professional experience in HR or Legal fields.
  • Proven experience in conducting investigations on various HR topics.
  • General understanding of labor law regulations.
  • Experience in regional roles is advantageous, with the ability to navigate a matrix organization.
  • A strong personal character with a high level of integrity.
  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and excellent drafting abilities.
  • Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluency in English is essential; additional languages are a plus.
