Position Overview: We are looking for a Sales Assistant to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that every customer enjoys a positive shopping experience. Your contributions will be vital in maximizing store sales and ensuring the smooth daily operations of the shop.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with sales and customer service, ensuring a high standard of retail experience.
  • Support stock management, including rotation and organization of displays.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the store environment.
  • Act as a representative of Age UK, embodying our core values in all interactions.
  • Handle and lift stock bags weighing up to 10kg as required.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Experience in a customer-facing role.
  • Proficiency in cash handling procedures.
  • Ability to lift and carry stock bags up to 10kg.
  • Team player with the ability to work independently when necessary.
  • Awareness of cultural sensitivities and commitment to equal opportunities.
  • Flexibility to cover additional shifts as needed.
