Overview of the Role:

The Salesforce System Administrator will oversee the Distribution Salesforce platform, ensuring that user profiles and roles are appropriately assigned to meet visibility and sharing requirements. They will strive to enhance user experience on the platform and update it in accordance with business needs. The administrator will provide insights into the platform's capabilities and share this knowledge with the broader organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage user license distribution across the Distribution Salesforce platform, including security settings, profiles, permission sets, and roles. Design and develop new custom objects, fields, page layouts, and other essential system features as necessary. Create and maintain custom functionalities for users across various business sectors, utilizing Salesforce Flows to integrate business processes into Salesforce. Deliver training as a system expert to Learning & Development personnel and end users as needed. Coordinate and support project deliverables with team members from Distribution Salesforce. Track change requests through the designated platform and process. Monitor the usage and adoption of the Salesforce platform across the organization. Provide ongoing operational support through established support processes (e.g., mailbox, ticketing systems). Advocate for the use of Salesforce throughout the organization, serving as a primary contact for supported users. Build relationships with key stakeholders to facilitate ideation discussions. Stay informed about industry trends, bringing new technological advancements to the organization.

Essential Qualifications:

Degree level education in any field, or equivalent professional experience. Experience with Salesforce products in any capacity. High self-motivation and the ability to work flexibly under tight deadlines with demanding stakeholders, demonstrating effective time management skills. Strong attention to detail when creating and testing developments for implementation. Ability to articulate technical concepts clearly, both verbally and in writing.
