About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Developer to join our Member Servicing and Claims team. As a Salesforce Developer, you will play a critical role in building and maintaining Salesforce and its allied integrations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement the software development life cycle, including building, maintaining, testing, delivering, releasing, and documenting accessible and customer-centric software solutions.
  • Write clean, secure, and well-tested software, including method commentary evident in peer reviews and automation tools.
  • Take ownership to investigate and fix faults following agreed procedures and provide root cause analysis and recommendations.
  • Adhere to and apply Vitality's defined technical process standards to ensure the effective management of risks and the protection of Vitality's data.
  • Provide guidance to associate software engineers in the adherence to these standards.
  • Build and test software in line with the design conditions to ensure required integration and testing of components for other teams prior to completion.
  • Understand the benefits of Salesforce and positively contribute towards its vision and direction.
  • Fully competent in Salesforce and working independently within the framework of Vitality's modern technology platform.
  • Assist more junior Software Engineers to develop their skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Salesforce Administrator and Platform Developer I certifications.
  • Experience with Agile Software delivery (SCRUM).
  • Experience consulting with end users to understand their requirements and proposing best practice Salesforce solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of Apex, Aura, SOQL, Lightning Web Components, and Flows.
  • Experience with Salesforce DX and CI/CD.
