About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer II to join our Corporate and Investment Banking team at JP Morgan Chase Bank, National Association. As a key member of our software engineering team, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and delivering cutting-edge software solutions that drive business growth and innovation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop software solutions using modern programming languages and technologies, including Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices Architecture.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop software solutions that meet those needs.
  • Write secure and high-quality code, following industry best practices and adhering to coding standards.
  • Participate in agile development methodologies, including Scrum and DevOps, to ensure efficient and effective software delivery.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, working closely with stakeholders to identify and implement solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying that knowledge to drive innovation and improvement in our software solutions.
Requirements
  • Hands-on experience in software development, with a strong understanding of software design patterns and principles.
  • Proficiency in modern programming languages, including Java, and experience with Spring Boot and Microservices Architecture.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies, including Scrum and DevOps.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies, including AWS and Azure.
  • Experience with modern front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Knowledge of business domain concepts, including finance and banking.
