What this role entails:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Automation Test Engineer to join our innovative development team. Engaging in product and project-driven transformations across various technologies, you will be tasked with developing testing frameworks and automated tests to ensure all features and functionalities undergo thorough testing, are fit for purpose, and meet acceptance criteria. The successful candidate will possess excellent test automation skills and will work under the mentorship and support of Senior and Principal Test Engineers.

Key Responsibilities

Crafting high-quality feature files utilizing BDD syntax at a story or feature level. Developing and maintaining reusable automation test frameworks and constructing automated test artifacts. Ensuring adherence to Vitality's testing standards, while maintaining test automation and regression packs. Accountable for guaranteeing that all features and functionalities undergo system and system integration testing prior to release. Proactively removing obstacles for test execution and escalating issues as necessary. Contributing to test plans, progress reports, and end-of-stage reports as required. Participating in all Scrum Ceremonies to actively contribute to the sprint cycle. Engaging in the Test Automation Community of Practice and contributing to best practice documentation. Collaborating with team members with a positive attitude to review specifications and utilizing these agreed specifications to test effectively and efficiently using the appropriate standards and tools.

Essential Skills required for this role:
