Orridge and Co Ltd is a premier provider of inventory management services across Retail, Supply Chain, and Pharmacy sectors. We are seeking a dedicated Inventory Control Supervisor to enhance our successful team. The ideal candidate will oversee a small group of inventory specialists at client locations while conducting stock assessments. You will ensure that inventory counts are executed efficiently and professionally using advanced scanning technology. No previous inventory experience is necessary, as comprehensive training will be provided.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and mentor a team of inventory personnel, offering guidance, training, and support.
  • Communicate all Health and Safety protocols to your team and ensure compliance.
  • Conduct inventory assessments utilizing our specialized inventory management system.
  • Maintain communication with clients throughout the inventory process.
  • Adhere to client-specific procedures and requirements.
  • Ensure all service level agreements with clients are fulfilled.
  • Provide training and support to new inventory specialists.
  • Address any inquiries from team members regarding the inventory process.
  • Meet all productivity and accuracy benchmarks.
  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of electronic count data and related documentation.
  • Identify areas for improvement and propose actionable solutions.

  • Prior supervisory experience is preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational abilities.
  • Capability to manage and prioritize a demanding workload under tight deadlines.
  • Self-driven and enthusiastic about learning.
  • Adaptable and flexible.
  • Possession of a valid driving license.

ADDITIONAL CONSIDERATIONS

  • This role involves manual handling tasks, including pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying.
  • Travel to various locations may be required.
