As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing daily planning operations, optimizing production schedules, and leading a dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Production Planning: Develop and maintain accurate production schedules to meet customer orders on time, ensuring seamless execution and timely delivery.
  • Order Management: Process and update customer orders, maintaining effective communication with relevant teams and stakeholders.
  • Progress Monitoring: Track production progress and keep Shift Operations Managers informed of any deviations from the plan, ensuring prompt corrective action.
  • KPI Management: Monitor plan adherence and maintain departmental KPIs on a weekly basis, driving continuous improvement and excellence.
  • Stock Management: Collaborate with the Materials Planner to ensure optimal stock levels of raw materials and packaging, minimizing waste and maximizing efficiency.
  • Logistics Coordination: Oversee the efficient collection and delivery of goods, liaising with hauliers to minimize delays and ensure timely delivery.
  • Communication: Act as the key contact for both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear and timely communication across the board.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and support your team, maintaining training records and fostering performance improvement, driving a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
  • Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement by identifying and implementing process enhancements, streamlining operations, and increasing productivity.
  • HR Management: Manage team HR-related tasks, including holiday approvals and return-to-work interviews, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Essential Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 3+ years in a supply chain or planning role within a manufacturing environment, with a proven track record of success.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to manage and motivate a small team, driving results and achieving goals.
  • Skills: Excellent organizational and communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in FMCG, retail, or e-commerce environments, with a deep understanding of supply chain operations and logistics.
  • Advantageous: Familiarity with Sage 200 and experience with project management or process improvement initiatives, a strong asset in this role.
