About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional communicator to provide ongoing support and development to St Christopher's volunteers. As a key member of our People Directorate, you will play a vital role in ensuring our volunteers feel valued, supported, and empowered to make a meaningful contribution to our organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional support and development opportunities to our volunteers, fostering a culture of inclusivity and engagement.
  • Collaborate with our Volunteer Team to develop and implement strategies that promote volunteer retention, recruitment, and satisfaction.
  • Develop and deliver training programs that enhance volunteer skills and knowledge, aligning with our organization's goals and objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with volunteers, stakeholders, and colleagues, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that support volunteer management and engagement.

Requirements

  • Good level of General Education (minimum of 5 GCSEs or equivalent, including English and Maths).
  • Previous experience of administering or coordinating activities, ideally within a not-for-profit organization.
  • Experience of working with volunteer management databases, such as Better Impact, is desirable.
