Job Overview

We are pleased to announce a unique opportunity to become part of the Barts Health therapies team, focusing on respiratory care across various settings. We seek a skilled Band 5 or established Band 6 physiotherapist with experience in acute care rotations.

Experience can be acquired in the following domains:

  • Adult Critical Care, including major trauma and neurosurgical cases
  • Cardiovascular pathways at a leading heart center, encompassing complex cardio-thoracic surgeries
  • General surgical care, including upper GI and hepato-biliary services
  • Acute specialist respiratory medicine
  • Community management of pulmonary and cardiovascular conditions, focusing on admission avoidance and early supported discharge
  • Regional complex and long-term ventilation
  • Cystic fibrosis management

Applicants should possess robust clinical skills, demonstrating a holistic approach to patient care and a commitment to evidence-based practices. Main Responsibilities

- Assist in organizing, developing, and delivering a high-quality physiotherapy service to a diverse range of in-patients.

- Work within a multicultural environment, enhancing experience across various specialist physiotherapy areas through a structured rotation.

- Deliver specialized physiotherapeutic interventions, utilizing advanced skills in patient assessment and treatment.

- Contribute to the advancement of evidence-based practices and clinical effectiveness throughout each rotation.

- Participate in the emergency and on-call rota across the designated hospital sites.

  • HCPC Registration
