About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Respiratory Practitioner to join our Community Specialist Team at Central London Community Health Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality respiratory care to patients in the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive respiratory care to patients with chronic respiratory disease and respiratory failure in the community.
  • Work collaboratively with a multi-professional team to deliver pulmonary rehabilitation, oxygen therapy, and primary care education to patients in their own homes, virtually, or in clinic settings.
  • Develop and implement new initiatives to improve patient outcomes and service delivery.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of team working and specialist clinical expertise.
  • Perform and interpret spirometry and other respiratory assessments as required.
Requirements
  • Registered physiotherapist with current HPC registration.
  • Postgraduate level education in Respiratory Physiotherapy or equivalent combination of degree, short courses, and experience.
  • Experience of working with respiratory patients, leading pulmonary rehabilitation programs, and providing physiotherapy interventions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, motivate self and others, and work under pressure.
  • Sound working knowledge of clinical governance and evidence-based practice.
  • Excellent documentation skills and computer literacy.
