Hours: Full-time (35 hours / week)
Location: Hybrid, 2 days in the office.
Responsible to: Marketing and Membership Manager
Salary: £30k
Term: 1 month with possibility of extension
Position Overview:
As a Membership Operations Coordinator, you will be an integral part of a dedicated team, managing a variety of administrative responsibilities. Your key duties will involve addressing member inquiries, maintaining membership databases, and supporting the organization of our group events. This role is central to our Membership Team, providing crucial assistance to professional conservator-restorers both in the UK and globally.
Key Responsibilities:
In this position, you will manage shared communication channels for membership, events, and outreach, ensuring prompt and courteous responses to member and delegate inquiries. You will regularly review and update member information in our Client Relationship Management (CRM) system, generate weekly membership analytics, and maintain high standards of data integrity. Additionally, you will be responsible for crafting and distributing email communications, updating content on our website, and overseeing the events communication channel. This includes setting up events on our platform, providing timely information to event organizers, and addressing delegate questions. Financial reconciliation tasks will also be part of your duties. Furthermore, you will assist with various tasks as directed by the Marketing and Membership Manager, the Policy and Programmes Director, or the Chief Executive.
Qualifications:The ideal candidate should have achieved GCSE (or equivalent) Grade C or above in English and Mathematics, with prior experience in a small team within an office setting and familiarity with database management. Proficiency in Office365 applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and One Drive, is essential. The candidate should demonstrate the ability to collect, organize, and present information clearly and accurately, alongside a disciplined approach to record-keeping and maintaining high data accuracy. Strong time management skills and the capability to prioritize a diverse workload in a fast-paced environment are crucial. Effective communication skills, characterized by a polite, friendly, and helpful demeanor, are required, along with the ability to handle sensitive situations with diplomacy and confidentiality. The candidate should be committed to upholding the organization's values and adhering to established policies and procedures, demonstrating a passion for promoting diversity and inclusion in the workplace. Collaboration with a range of colleagues, including volunteers, is also expected.
