Our client, a well-established and respected trade association with over 1,800 member organizations, is seeking a Membership Administrator.

Key Responsibilities

The Membership Administrator will play a crucial role in delivering proactive administrative support throughout the membership application process. This position will involve collaboration with the Senior Engagement Manager and the membership applications team to enhance our membership base.

Primary duties include:

  • Acting as the initial point of contact for inquiries related to membership applications.
  • Processing membership applications in line with due diligence standards and established procedures.
  • Assisting the broader Business Development team with their inquiries and potential new member leads.
Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Demonstrated customer service experience, preferably in a trade association, standards organization, membership organization, or similar customer-focused environment.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Relevant college coursework.
  • A university degree in a related field (preferred).
  • Mandatory experience with database systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365).
  • Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively, managing competing tasks effectively.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • The capability to handle a high volume of applications, organize multiple documents, and track progress efficiently.
  • A professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with applicants.
  • A flexible team player who can perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
