Job Description

**Membership Assistant Role**

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Membership Assistant to join our team at Membership Bespoke. As a Membership Assistant, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and supporting the Membership Operations Manager in ensuring accurate reconciliation and reporting for membership income.

Main Responsibilities

  • Membership Operational Process: Deliver the end-to-end membership journey, from potential leads to joining, renewing, reinstating, and upgrading/changing membership class.
  • Application Review and Processing: Review, process, and elect applications for Students, Licentiates, Affiliates, Retired, reinstatements, and resignations.
  • Membership Operational Policies: Administer Leave of Absence, concessionary fees, and ensure membership requirements are met.
  • Annual Membership Renewals: Deliver annual membership renewals to maximize member retention, including collection and processing of income, concessionary fees, outbound calling, and member resignations.
  • Reconciliation and Reporting: Work closely with the Membership Operations Manager to ensure accurate reconciliation and reporting for membership income.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service and support to existing and potential new members, responding to written and telephone enquiries, and managing inboxes.
  • Database Management: Maintain and update the Membership database using Microsoft Dynamics.

Essential Skills

  • Customer Focus: Strong customer focus, able to communicate with members and stakeholders in a professional and effective manner.
  • Attention to Detail: Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Organizational Skills: Able to plan, organize, and prioritize work effectively, while working on own initiative.
  • Time Management: Able to meet deadlines while ensuring a high quality of work.
  • IT Skills: Good IT skills, including experience with MS Dynamics and databases/CRM systems.
  • Membership Experience: Experience working in a membership organization (desirable).
  • Operational Knowledge: An understanding of the operational complexities of a professional body (desirable).
