Membership Manager Role Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Membership Manager to oversee all aspects of membership for our Trade Association and Trade Association Academy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Renewals, new member recruitment, and record maintenance
  • Grow both the membership and the Trade Association Academy
  • Manage financial tasks and coordinate with management accountants and auditors
  • Organise internal meetings, track team progress, handle member inquiries, research potential new members, and support events like summits and conferences

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in a similar role
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and MS Office Suite
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong organisational and time management skills

Desirable

  • Experience in a membership management role, ideally within a trade association or similar organisation
  • Experience in event management - for example, organising of small member events and supporting a larger annual member event
  • Experience in Learning and Development would be helpful as we develop our Academy
