Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Operations Assistant Manager to join our team at Japan Centre Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our warehouse, ensuring seamless execution of our logistics and supply chain processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Warehouse Operations: Manage the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including receiving, picking, and replenishment tasks.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise and assist team members in their daily tasks, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in managing inventory levels, including checking, inputting, and amending data on our Stock Control system.
  • Logistics Support: Provide support to the logistics operation, including manual handling and forklift operating.
  • Administrative Tasks: Assist with administrative tasks, including data entry and record-keeping.

Requirements:

  • Japanese Language Skills: Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking Japanese.
  • Leadership Experience: Previous experience in supervising a team and managing daily operations.
  • Industry Experience: Previous experience working in the food industry, preferably in a warehouse or logistics role.
  • Education and Training: Minimum 1 year experience in a similar position, with adequate skills in computer operations, such as Google Sheets and Google Docs.
  • Personal Qualities: Strong multitasking and time management skills, with a valid driving license.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Product Knowledge: Knowledge of Japanese products and culture.
  • Operational Skills: Forklift license (we can provide training).
