Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead and Motivate the Warehouse Team

As Warehouse Operations Manager, you will lead a team of warehouse operatives, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure they are equipped to perform their duties efficiently and effectively.

Schedule and Assign Tasks

You will be responsible for scheduling shifts, assigning tasks, and monitoring the performance of your team, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.

Inventory Management

You will oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of our jewellery products, ensuring accurate inventory records and conducting regular audits to prevent discrepancies.

Quality Control

You will implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure all products meet our high standards before dispatch.

Warehouse Operations Optimization

You will regularly monitor key metrics such as order accuracy, picking and packing speed, quality control, and stock discrepancies, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to optimize warehouse operations.

Standard Operating Procedures

You will develop and refine standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure efficient and effective warehouse operations.

Warehouse Management Software

You will utilize warehouse management software (WMS) to track inventory and manage workflow, ensuring seamless integration with our e-commerce platform.

Collaboration and Communication

You will work closely with internal teams, including Merchandising, Retail, Product Design, Wholesale, and Customer Care, to align warehouse activities with business objectives.

Reporting and Analysis

You will prepare and present reports on warehouse performance, including inventory levels, order accuracy, and productivity metrics, analyzing data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.

Continuous Improvement

You will recommend and implement improvements to enhance warehouse operations and customer satisfaction, ensuring our high-end jewellery products are delivered to our customers efficiently and effectively.

Requirements and Qualifications

  1. Previous Experience

You will have previous experience in a supervisory role within a warehouse or logistics environment, ideally within the luxury goods industry.

Inventory Management and Warehouse Operations

You will have strong knowledge of inventory management and warehouse operations, including proficiency with warehouse management software (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Desirable Skills

Prior experience with the Peoplevox warehouse management system / Shopify e-commerce platform is desirable, as is a forklift license.
