Job Summary:

Utility Warehouse is seeking an experienced Commercial Forecasting Manager to join our Commercial Development team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and leading the delivery of our commercial forecasting and planning function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Lead Commercial Forecasting and Planning Function: Develop and lead the delivery of our commercial forecasting and planning function, ensuring close linkages with Finance and the P&Ls to inform and be informed for the associated budgets and plans.
  • Coordinate Annual Growth Plan: Coordinate the creation of the cross-functional annual growth plan using business insights, market trends, and historic data to identify growth opportunities and achievable growth targets.
  • Identify Opportunities and Risks: Identify opportunities and risks to the plan and work with channel and business owners to mitigate them.
  • Support Commercial Growth Planning Process: Support and drive the annual Commercial Growth planning process as part of the broader Utility Warehouse planning process.
  • Develop and Lead Run Rate Modelling and Real-Time Re-Forecasting Process: Develop and lead ongoing run-rate modelling and real-time re-forecasting process.
  • Build and Maintain Relationships: Build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders, with a particular focus on Finance and delivering to the P&L in line with forecasts.
  • Drive Organisational Continuous Improvement and Change: Drive organisational continuous improvement and change to support business growth and value delivery.
  • Collaborate with Senior Management: Collaborate with Senior Management and key stakeholders in the development of strategies and supporting each channel and service area in the development of its own forecasting capability.
  • Build Integrity of Commercial Data: Build the integrity of our commercial data, informing our routes to market and commercial choices.
  • Support/Run Weekly Trading Meeting: Support/Run the weekly Trading meeting.
  • Lead and Manage Team: Lead and manage a team of one direct report and cross-functional support areas.
