We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Operations Assistant to join our team at LondonEnergy. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and issuance of goods in our warehouse.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect goods from suppliers, verifying accuracy and reporting discrepancies to the relevant personnel.
- Process and manage inventory, including stock rotation and tracking.
- Issue goods to internal customers and external contractors, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Conduct purchasing activities as required, collaborating with suppliers to ensure consistency of supply and quality.
- Maintain a safe and clean warehouse environment, adhering to health and safety protocols.
- Unload and load vehicles manually or with mechanical assistance, as necessary.
- Participate in warehouse stock-takes and other inventory management activities.
Requirements
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Experience in stock control and operation of stores receipt and issue methods.
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment, preferably with goods receipting and issuing methods.
- Trustworthiness and honesty are essential.
- Driving license for forklift truck is preferred but not essential.
- Knowledge of plant spares is a plus but not required.
- Willingness to accept training and development opportunities.
- Flexibility to work weekends and cover shifts as required.
- Experience in stock control and rotation.
