About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Support Worker to join our team at Salutem Shared Services. As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, enabling care to individuals with diverse needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Maintain Support Plans: Create and implement detailed, person-centered support plans that promote health, wellbeing, relationships, and diversity, ensuring compliance with legal and safety standards.
  • Implement Activity Plans: Design and implement robust activity plans that encourage autonomy, new experiences, and flexibility, regularly engaging with individuals to seek their views.
  • Support Financial Planning: Assist individuals in financial planning, medication self-administration, and regular health reviews, adhering to the Mental Capacity Act principles.
  • Ensure a Safe Environment: Tailor the environment to meet individual needs, ensuring Health and Safety policies, including Fire Safety, are followed.
  • Lead and Manage Staff: Recruit and manage staff through robust induction, supervision, and training processes, ensuring person-centered schedules and personal development plans.
  • Deliver Outstanding Care: Deliver outstanding care and support by adhering to Salutem's Quality Assurance framework, embodying core values, and managing incidents according to policies.
