Position Overview

As a Security Officer, you will be instrumental in safeguarding individuals and assets within your designated area. Your role involves vigilant monitoring and reporting of activities and incidents at the client site, utilizing essential tools such as metal detectors and security wands. Your commitment to service excellence and continuous training will help foster a secure environment.

This role entails:

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday

42.5 hours weekly

Mandatory SIA license

Possession of a Driving License or reliable travel options

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform all assigned duties safely, adhering to all statutory and local regulations.
  • Ensure all contractors and their equipment are accounted for and managed securely during their time on-site, following established procedures and local training.
  • Handle all necessary documentation appropriately.
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety in the work area at all times.
  • Communicate effectively at all levels, both verbally and in writing, including proficient use of communication devices such as radios.
  • Exhibit flexibility and a proactive approach with a focus on customer satisfaction and continuous improvement.
  • Self-motivate and take initiative.
  • Oversee external areas, conducting regular inspections to ensure cleanliness and presentation.
Required Qualifications
  • SIA License
  • Minimum of 3 years experience as a Security Officer
  • Driver's License and access to a personal vehicle
  • Right to Work and a 5-year checkable history
  • Confident and alert demeanor
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Conflict resolution abilities
  • Proficient in IT
