As a key member of our Supply Chain Team, you will be responsible for collecting surplus food from our food industry partners and delivering it to our regional centres across the West and East Midlands.

Main Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to our food partners, ensuring a professional and friendly impression of the charity.
  • Logistics Coordination: Work with the Supply Chain Team to plan and execute daily collections and deliveries, adhering to all laws and working time regulations.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of collections and allocations, including temperature readings and paperwork.
  • Problem Solving: Identify and respond to any barriers or opportunities, using problem-solving skills to mitigate any unforeseen circumstances.
  • Delivery and Loading: Ensure deliveries follow the assigned order, and all delivery windows are met safely.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Ensure the vehicle is properly maintained, serviced, and cleaned to a high standard.
Requirements
