Leader Recruitment Group is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant who is enthusiastic about contributing to an alternative education environment.

This position entails assisting students with social, emotional, and mental health challenges (SEMH), thus prior experience with SEMH or at-risk populations is highly valued.

This primary educational setting is firmly committed to fostering an atmosphere where every student can attain optimal outcomes, irrespective of their educational requirements.

The standard working hours are Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, and this is a long-term opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Possess a fully enhanced DBS on the update service or be prepared to obtain one.
  • Demonstrate experience in a relevant role or with SEMH individuals.
  • Facilitate activities with individuals or small groups to promote educational growth.
  • Engage confidently with students, ensuring they receive comprehensive support.
  • Create a dynamic and well-organized learning atmosphere suitable for pupils with SEMH.
  • Exhibit flexibility and resilience in various situations.
  • Collaborate effectively with parents, guardians, and other professionals to deliver optimal support.
  • Utilize communication skills tailored to accommodate students of varying abilities.
