Leader Recruitment Group is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join a Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) institution in Durham.
This establishment serves young individuals aged 2-19 with a wide array of special educational needs.

The standard working hours are Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, and this is a long-term opportunity.

The ideal candidate will:
- Hold a fully enhanced DBS on the update service or be prepared to obtain one.
- Possess experience in a relevant role or with SEND.
- Facilitate activities with individuals or small groups to promote educational growth.
- Exhibit confidence in supporting students to ensure they receive comprehensive assistance.
- Create a stimulating and well-organized learning atmosphere suitable for pupils with SEND.
- Demonstrate flexibility and resilience.
- Collaborate effectively with parents, caregivers, and other members of multidisciplinary teams to provide optimal support.
- Have communication skills that can be tailored to meet the needs of students with varying abilities.
