Job Summary:
Leader Education is seeking a highly skilled Primary Education Specialist to join our team at a Durham-based Primary school. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality education to students with social, emotional, and mental health needs (SEMH).
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver the curriculum to Years 5 & 6 students, providing support, advice, and guidance to pupils.
- Work effectively with pupils, colleagues, parents, and other professionals to achieve academic and social development.
- Utilize adaptability and initiative to accommodate various learning types and abilities.
- Set high expectations and aspirations for young people and themselves.
Requirements:
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) and relevant teaching qualifications.
- A current DBS that is on the update system, or a willingness to obtain one.
- Previous experience as a Primary teacher.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
