Job Title: Art Teacher

Job Duties:
  • Develop and deliver engaging and creative art lessons to students, catering to their diverse learning styles and abilities.
  • Create and implement a comprehensive art curriculum that aligns with national standards, ensuring students receive a well-rounded education in art.
  • Regularly assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their growth and development in art.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages students to express themselves creatively and explore their artistic potential.
  • Organise and supervise art projects and exhibitions, collaborating with colleagues and students to showcase the students' work and talents.
  • Communicate and collaborate with parents to support students' learning and development in art.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Art Education or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Enhanced DBS check.
Education:

Bachelor's degree in Art Education or a related field.

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in art education.

Knowledge and Skills:
  • Extensive knowledge of art history, various artistic techniques, and the ability to incorporate them into lessons.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with and inspire students.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills to effectively plan and deliver lessons and manage multiple projects.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary position, with the option to make it permanent at a later date.
