KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of client requirements and expectations.
  • Master CoStar's essential information and marketing solutions, including LoopNet, the premier online platform for commercial real estate.
  • Take full responsibility for the entire sales process, encompassing: prospecting, product demonstrations, closing deals, onboarding clients, training, and renewals.
  • Conduct high-quality in-person demonstrations of products for clients and prospects.
  • Offer valuable insights to all stakeholders in the commercial property sector, including Surveyors, Owners, Investors, Lenders, Local Authorities, and Service Providers.
  • Represent CoStar by participating in industry events and networking with professionals in the property market.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Demonstrated sales success - Successful candidates typically have experience in selling commercial property services, technology solutions, fintech, or analytics platforms. Other sales backgrounds will also be considered.
  • Proven ability to maintain and expand client relationships over the medium to long term, delivering exceptional service and navigating sales cycles that may last from 3 to 12 months or more.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and objection handling skills, with the ability to articulate complex proposals with confidence and patience.
  • Strong organizational skills and the capability to work effectively towards metrics.
  • A degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • A consultative approach to sales, utilizing account management techniques to foster account growth over time. A passion for building client relationships and assisting in problem-solving is essential.
  • Ability to navigate within a large organization to identify decision-makers, influencers, and potential blockers.
  • Willingness to travel for training purposes.
