Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Bar Waiter/Waitress. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for providing outstanding service to our guests, working closely with the restaurant and reception teams to ensure seamless communication and a smooth customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Table Service
    • Provide exceptional table service, taking guest orders and running trays of food and drinks to guest tables.
    • Offer personalized drinks recommendations and engage in genuine conversation to build rapport with our guests.
  • Communication and Teamwork
    • Work closely with the restaurant and reception teams to ensure effective communication and a smooth customer experience.
    • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve our service standards and exceed guest expectations.
  • Knowledge and Skills
    • Have a comprehensive knowledge of our food and beverage menu options to offer guests recommendations and answer questions.
    • Understand the allergens present in our menu items and be able to advise guests accordingly.
  • Additional Responsibilities
    • Be able to work at pace and be physically active for the duration of your shift.
    • Be willing and able to pour, serve, and sell alcohol.
    • Be flexible with shift patterns and available around the needs of our business.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of working experience, ideally in a hospitality environment.
  • Previous waiting or coffee shop experience is strongly preferred.
  • Be an outgoing personality with effective communication skills.
  • Ability to work at pace and be physically active for the duration of your shift.
  • Willing and able to pour, serve, and sell alcohol.
  • Be flexible with shift patterns and available around the needs of our business.
