Position Overview

The Risk and Governance Manager plays a crucial role in establishing and maintaining a robust compliance reporting and monitoring framework within the Finance sector, with a specific emphasis on Billing, Credit Risk, and Collections. This position is essential for ensuring adherence to evolving regulations that impact our clientele.


Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement processes for ongoing compliance management across Billing, Credit Risk, and Collections.
  • Identify compliance gaps and formulate action plans to address them, ensuring risks are appropriately escalated.
  • Monitor customer outcomes and maintain reporting for high-risk areas.
  • Lead compliance initiatives and ensure proper escalation within Vodafone UK's risk and governance structures.
  • Manage customer and operational risks, including the organization of relevant forums and committees.
  • Act as a liaison for Compliance and Business Risk functions, facilitating communication and collaboration.

Who You Are

You are an expert in Risk Management with a solid understanding of compliance frameworks. Your experience includes:

  • Working within a regulatory environment, such as Consumer Duty, FCA, and Ofcom.
  • Collaborating in a matrix structure with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of influencing senior management and peers.
  • Project Management expertise.
